a) When visiting this Website

When visiting our website www.mayrfeld.com the browser used on your device will automatically send certain information to the server of our website. This information is only stored temporarily in a so-called logfile. The following information will be collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • name and URL of the retrieved file,

b) When signing-up for our newsletter

  • the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR, or
  • if the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you pursuant to Art. 6 sec. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

4. Cookies

To integrate Google Maps on our website, we use a plug-in that prevents Google Maps from collecting your personal data before you click on the map or activate the map function. By clicking on the map, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Google in the manner described below.

By clicking on the map or activating the map function, Google Maps receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, your personal data is transmitted to Google regardless whether or not you are logged in via a user account with Google. Google Maps stores your data as user profile and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and / or tailored design of its website. You have the right to object, however you must contact Google Maps to exercise this right.

We have no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by Google, the type of processing and use or the transfer of this data to third parties. Further, we have no possibilities to control these actions.

7. YouTube

On our site, we also use the video portal “YouTube” by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter “Google Ireland”). This implementation is based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, whereby our legal interest lies in the smooth integration of the videos and the appealing design of our website.

In this context, we use a plug-in to integrate YouTube videos on our site, which prevents YouTube from collecting data from users of our site even before they click on a video on our website. By clicking on a YouTube video on our website, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Google Ireland in the manner described below.

When you access an embedded YoutTube video, a connection to Google’s servers is established and in doing so, the content is displayed on the website by communicating it to your browser. In this context, your personal data will be collected, transferred, stored, disclosed and used by Google, and transferred to, and stored and used in, the U.S., Ireland, and any other country in which Google does business, regardless of your country of residence. This occurs regardless of whether or not you are logged in a user account provided by Google. When visiting our website, we use the popular SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption.
